Getting Around North Cyprus: Transport Guide

Car Rental

The best way to explore North Cyprus is by renting a car. Roads are generally good, driving is on the left (British style), and car rental prices start from around €25/day. Most rental companies accept international driving licenses.

Airport Transfers

Ercan Airport is the main airport. Pre-arranged transfers cost around €30-50 to Kyrenia and €20-30 to Famagusta. Many holiday rental providers can arrange this for you.

Taxis

Taxis are readily available but can be expensive for long distances. Always agree on a price before starting your journey or ensure the meter is running.
